Ethel Blondin-Andrew: Indigenous conservation can get Canada to climate goals

Ethel Blondin-Andrew, the first Indigenous woman to serve in federal cabinet, joined Linda Solomon Wood on Zoom to talk about Indigenous led-conservation, food security and climate impacts in northern territories. As a senior leader with the Indigenous Leadership Initiative, she had a clear message for Trudeau’s government: “Our greatest resource for dealing with climate change is our Indigenous knowledge, our Indigenous people. We have the vision, we need the resources.”
